PyroCluster® creates ultra realistic smoke, fire and cloud effects rendered as real 3D volumes! All MAX features are supported. Illumination and blending with other MAX volume effects is done automatically! PyroCluster® offers three special purpose shading algorithms to create cloud, solid surface or smoke effects. Each calculation model offers specific and highly optimized methods to create those 3D cloud effects.

PyroCluster 3.0 offers state of the art volume acceleration rendering technologies, and it is by far one of the fastest and most flexible 3D smoke/cloud generators for 3ds max 6 and higher. To guarantee a flawless integration into 3ds max many new workflow and design concepts have been introduced. Release 3.0 is now much more user friendly and offers even better control over volumetric effects like any other tool for 3ds max.


procluster is available in two variations. As an integrated part of ProOpticSuite or as a separate independent 3ds max plug-in. Both variations include full mental ray support for 3ds max.
