Deep Paint 3D® provides 3D artists with an intuitive, easy to use tool to paint and texture 3D models interactively in 3D. It uses textures or natural medium that can be brushed directly or projected onto 3D models and scenes. This creative environment supports an integrated workflow with 3ds max®, Maya®, Softimage® and LightWave 3D®. Deep Paint 3D comes complete with a bi-directional interface to Photoshop® and special support for the Wacom® Intuos(tm) pressure sensitive tablet. Deep Paint 3D can be used standalone or with Deep UV.

Layers are like stacked panes of glass. Painting on the top layer hides anything painted on layers below, while any gaps will reveal the layers below. Layers may be reordered, made visible or hidden
Presets are combinations of brush and paint settings, they can be quickly changed, created, or edited and saved for later use. Organize presets into categories and even share them across a team of artists
Texture Paint, a preset category, lets you paint with images as brush tips - 3D lighting and texture control lets you view lighting from any angle
Batch operations
Splines, or curves can be created, edited and saved and used to create selection masks, define the path of a brush stroke, or repeat the same brushstroke with different settings. Brushes can be set to snap-to the spline while painting - Simulate the depth (or height) and interaction of real world paints
Tablet Support. Many Deep Paint 3D tools respond to changes in pen pressure, angle, direction or speed of movement. Extra features are provided for Wacom® tablets and the Intuos Airbrush™ and 4D-Mouse™
