Description
Pyro is a fire and smoke simulation and volumetric rendering plug-in for LightWave 7.5. It differs from typical particle simulation systems in that it is meant specifically to aid in the creation of advanced smoke and fire effects. Furthermore, after simulating, rendering is handled with custom volumetric classes designed to look like the most realistic smoke and fire.

- Realistic Fire and Smoke dynamics engine.
- Uses LW’s Volumetrics engine, so they will easily refract/reflect in objects.
- Easily create multiple flame, smoke, and wind sources.
- Flame and Smoke sources can be the same object or different, giving the user maximum control.
- Tight integration into LightWave, use the Graph Editor and Expressions to control values.
- All source properties can be keyframed and use the Graph Editor.
- Smoke can be automatically generated from a Flame source.
- Smoke can be illuminated by the Flame source.
- Flame colors can be calculated from specific tempature, or from a color picker.
- Data can be recorded to you hard drive to be used later on other projects.
- Pyro is a non-modal plugin, meaning you can leave the interface up while you work.
- Pyro effects can be previewed right in Layout for maximum interactivity.
- Pyro, as a volumetric plugin, can use Viper for previewing animations.
