This book is okay as a primer. I really wish it delved more into using dynamics for special effects. If you have the previous Maya 5 Dynamics, you are pretty much getting the same info. I enjoy how Alias is pretty much handing you there DVD on Maya Dynamics they once sold for $34.99. No color images throughout the book other than the cover.
