Enlight is intended to fill the gap between standard MAX lights and physically based radiosity solutions. Flexible, user friendly and fast, it is fully MAX/VIZ 3.x compatible and uses the latest enhancements in the MAX software architecture. With Enlight’s Advanced Shadowing System it is very easy to have appropriate illumination and shadowing based upon an objects structure.

EnlightObject will turn any mesh into a light emitter.

EnlightParticles light type uses proven AfterBurn AFC and Gradient technology to control particle illumination based on particle life and age.

EnlightBitmap is a utility that makes it easy to export a pre-illuminated bitmaps by unwrapping the whole material from an object. It supports raytraced shadows, diffuse lighting, and lighting strength.
Once you try Enlight you’ll see that the task of scene lighting design will never be the same!


Enlight can turn any mesh into a light source. Objects can act as a light sources even if they are not directly illuminated by MAX lights.

Enlight Object does not need for you to refine mesh to get good results - you can get great results with only one face. Actually, you don’t need to rely on the mesh faces - you can add UV lights based on the mapping applied to the object !

It is fully MAX 3.x compatible, using the latest improvements in the SDK. MAX scripting is fully supported. New MAX 3.x material channels are also supported.

Click once create&pick many technology ! With one mouse click you can create as many Enlighten as there are selected objects, and each Enlight already has one object "picked". This technology is the most simple way to do "create and pick" task.

Enlight is a great choice for Game developing companies. It is compatible with MAX tools that store illumination info as Vertex color channel. This makes easy to export Illumination solution directly to your game engine !! With Enlight Bitmap you can even export illuminated bitmaps from floors, ceilings, etc..

With Enlight you will no more want to work with MAX default lights, spending a lot of time to make you scene illumination look real ( not to mention animations! ).

Subsampling on a face or UV level provides more accurate illumination calculation without increasing rendering time.

Enlight Particles light type does not create the "fake radiosity" effect, but is used to turn each particle in particle system to light

With included Enlight Manager you can easily handle dozen of lights with one mouse click. You don’t have to worry which light is instance of other light... or was it a reference?

Advanced Shadowing System is able to cast shadows that are depending on object proportions, position, rotation, or even user can place them manually !

With almost any parameter varying over particle age, artist isn’t restricted in any way.
It is AfterBurn and ScatterVL Pro compatible!
